Steri Strips

Steri-Strips are sterile, adhesive, paper-like tapes used to close small, shallow, low-tension, or linear wounds and surgical incisions. They act as a, non-invasive alternative to, or support for, stitches or staples, holding wound edges together to promote healing and reduce infection risk.

Key Usage Guidelines

Application: Clean and dry the skin thoroughly. Apply strips perpendicular to the wound, starting in the middle, leaving small gaps to allow drainage.

Adhesion: Benzoin tincture can be applied to the skin around the incision (not on it) to increase adhesion.
